A veteran of the financial services industry, Michael Valley brings over 40 years of experience to Eastwind Capital. As founder of the firm, he dedicates his expertise to helping clients achieve their true financial potential.
Michael puts his clients’ needs at the heart of his practice—whether by partnering with individuals, families, or small businesses—and provides them with the tools, guidance, and support necessary for a lifelong, successful financial future. In an industry where conflicting interests abound, he established the firm to deliver the personalized attention that every investor truly deserves. It is due to prioritizing attainable goals that he assists his clients in constructing a plan that suits them best, and ensures they are involved every step of the way. Through emphasizing trust, integrity, and accessibility in all his relationships, Michael provides his clients with sincere confidence in their financial health.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Michael started his first business in 1972. After the success of Valley Brothers Egg Company, he headed up multiple financial service companies before opening Eastwind Capital in 1991. Michael is a Certified Estate Planning Professional (CEPP) and holds his FINRA Series 65 along with his health, life, and annuity licenses. His passion for helping others extends outside his business as well, as he is actively engaged with his local community and leads an initiative to provide homeless people in Columbus with housing. He also volunteers at the Columbus Dream Center, Stowe Mission, serves on the boards at Stowe Mission and Journey to Life Columbus Relief, and dedicates his time to One Church. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys exercising, boating, and deep-sea fishing with his wife, Sharon, and their two dogs, Jack and Eddie.
